Your role is pivotal in driving forward CV’s mission and operational excellence. Explore the diverse array of job descriptions and roles that our Impact Interns undertake at Chennai Volunteers:
Would be involved in recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers. They may assist in conducting volunteer orientations, managing volunteer schedules, and tracking volunteer hours. They ensure that volunteers have a positive experience and provide the necessary support they need.
Would assist in the execution, audit and smooth running of an ongoing project of CV.
Would assist in organizing events, including community outreach programs, workshops, or awareness campaigns. They would help with logistical arrangements, coordination with vendors, promoting events, and facilitating event-day activities.
Would contribute to the development and implementation of new programs or initiatives. They would conduct research, collect data, and analyse information to support the organization in identifying community needs and developing effective strategies to address them.
Would assist in the organization's communication efforts, such as newsletter, annual report, social media management, writing blog posts or newsletters, creating promotional materials, and maintaining the organization's website. They help raise awareness about the organization's work and engage with the community.
Would support fundraising activities, including researching potential funding sources, drafting grant proposals, and assisting with donor relations. They help maintain donor databases, track donations, and contribute to fundraising campaigns.
Depending on the organization's focus, interns may have the opportunity to directly engage with program participants or beneficiaries. This could involve providing support, mentoring, tutoring, or leading workshops and activities
Would assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, answering phone calls, and managing emails. They help maintain organized records, update databases, and support the smooth functioning of the organization's office.
